#43 - Protecting yourself from redundancy and there will never be a right time with Simon Dalley
/

In this episode, I’m excited to welcome another guest onto the podcast, Simon Dalley. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Simon at two different companies.

Alongside his 9-5, Simon has been working on his side hustle since 2007. Which, I’m happy to say, is now a business that Simon runs full-time with two other people. I think Simon was ahead of the curve. He was made redundant in 2007/2008 and knew then that he had to start something on the side to protect himself in case that happened again.

We discuss the positives and negatives Simon has experienced in launching and working on his side business. The difficult task of growing and managing a client base, while still having a life. Most importantly stop making excuses, by quitting his job and being able to focus on the business full time

Thanks to Simon Dalley for being a guest on the podcast.

It was an honour and a privilege.
